All paintings are in oil on linen or canvas with gesso. The initial sketches and reference photography is done at a client’s property to help the sense of ambiance, ease and background - especially for children. A portrait will last for generations. It is a gift in the present which offers a long exposure of the person: their character, spirit and even accomplishments.

The client may choose the size of canvas.

A portrait usually has a plain background or vignette ( unfinished look with some of the canvas showing, often used around heads and shoulders).

If you would like a particular house or interior to be included do not hesitate to ask and an arrangement may be made to suit.

Expenses such as travel, framing, packaging and posting are additional.
